South Orange County Hybrid Homeschool (SOCHH) offers a fun, safe, and enriching learning environment developed to inspire thorough and detailed mastery of the core educational subjects – LANGUAGE ARTS, MATH, and SOCIAL STUDIES.
SOCHH is devoted to excellence in teaching the core subjects of language arts (reading, comprehension, and writing), math, and social studies in a meaningful, creative and peer collaborative way.
Students are started at their current instructional level and work at a reasonable pace. We set developmentally appropriate goals and encourage the students to meet these goals.
We are a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization with skilled instructors, elective vendors, educational materials, and learning space. In addition, we are grateful to have an amazing group of administrative volunteers to keep us running smoothly.
Mission Statement: Our mission is to create a hybrid homeschool model that combines the structure, organization, and peer collaboration of a traditional classroom, with the flexibility, creativity, and autonomy of a homeschool lifestyle. It is our goal that students will obtain an enriched, individualized, and thoughtful experience.
